This lecture responded to the chapter Whole Wounds in Peggy Phelan's book Mourning Sex, considering methodologies of engagement between theology, art theory and philosophy. Responding to the themes of redemption, substitution, trauma and tacit/bodily knowledge as explored in Phelan's text.
